About Kirby Moore
I, Kirby Moore, love what I do. Trauma-Informed Astrology represents the healing and embodiment journey I have been on since 2003. I am deeply committed to supporting my client’s embodiment process, to move toward wholeness and restore vitality. Healing from the inside out: we all have access to an Innate Health Which is Never Lost. We are not our trauma. It is possible to repair the nervous system. We can remember who we are and what makes us feel alive. This is a long-haul process, it does take time.
I have worked with Spiritual Astrology and Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy the longest. However, Working with the Polyvagal System, Somatic Experiencing, Birth Process Work (PPN work), Zapchen Somatics and Asian Bodywork have had a great influence on my practice.
My therapeutic presence is informed by two decades of meditation practice. I have been extremely fortunate to receive teachings from His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Garchen Rinpoche and other highly realized Lamas and heart teachers. Even if just a small fraction of the healing wisdom from the lineages I am connected to has rubbed off on me, I am so grateful to be able to give back and share these heart teachings.

I have been so fortunate to attend sublime heart teachers - whether Western teachers or Tibetan Lamas. I have attended more than ten two-week teaching retreats on various topics, along with attending at least twenty long-weekend practice retreats.
My primary teachers are in the Drikung Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism, but I have also attended H.H. the Dalai Lama and Nyingma teachers. In 2020 I completed my first 90-day meditation retreat.

Advanced Somatic Retreats
As I mentioned, I am so grateful for all of my teachers - bodywork, nervous system repair, heart teachers, etc. I have been studying with Julie Henderson (creator of Zapchen Somatics) and her senior students since 2005, having taken numerous ten-day meditation and advanced somatic-processing retreats.

Dream Play
In the previously mentioned Advanced Somatics Retreats, we would do a potent Dream Play practice (from Susan Harper in Continuum). Then from 2018 - 2020, I led a dream group for over a year where eight - ten of us got to work a dream each night. Very insightful and transformative!
I offer dream work in bodywork and somatic processing sessions as well (if appropriate).
I look forward to adding this practice to future retreats I intend to assist and lead.
